Avantis is the largest RWA perps DEX in DeFi, built on and backed by Base. Avantis allows users to trade crypto and real-world assets (RWAs), including FX, commodities, indices, and equities. Who Are the Founders of Avantis?

Avantis was founded by Harsehaj Singh and Raymond Dong, veterans of Pantera Capital, Lazard, McKinsey, and Bow Capital. The team brings together deep experience in DeFi, quant finance, and macro trading. Harsehaj, Avantis' CEO, previously led investments at Pantera. Raymond, the COO, combines hedge fund and consulting experience with crypto-native product leadership.

The broader team includes engineers and designers across India, the U.S., and Europe, many of whom have previously built at Binance, Quantopian, and large fintech firms. The protocol is governed by the Avantis Foundation (Cayman).
