BOB has a maximum fixed supply of 10,000,000,000 (10 billion) BOB tokens, minted on BOB's hybrid chain and represented as an ERC-20 token. At launch, the initial circulating supply of unlocked tokens was 22.20% of total supply.

The token distribution is structured as follows:

• Community & Ecosystem (50.91%): The majority of the supply is allocated to community and ecosystem development, including Initial Claims (4.15%), Community Sale (2.00%), and ongoing Ecosystem & Community initiatives (44.76%).

• Early Contributors / Team (19%): Team tokens vest over 3 years with an initial 12-month cliff.

• Investors & Partners: Allocated to early backers and strategic partners with vesting schedules.

Who Are the Founders of BOB?

BOB was co-founded by Alexei Zamyatin and Dominik Harz, both of whom hold PhDs in computer science and have been active in the Bitcoin ecosystem for more than a decade.

Alexei Zamyatin earned his PhD from Imperial College London and has been a Bitcoin and interoperability research contributor since 2015. He co-authored the BitVM2 design, a foundational piece of research for trust-minimized Bitcoin bridges and rollups.

Dominik Harz also holds a PhD from Imperial College London with deep expertise in smart contracts, stablecoins & DeFi R&D since 2016. Previously cybersecurity at PwC. BinanceX Fellow.
